Make it easier for your veins with Veno SL® 300
Do your legs often feel heavy, tired and swollen after prolonged standing or sitting, sometimes even painful? Then give your veins the gift of lightness: Troxerutin, the active ingredient contained in Veno SL® 300, stabilises fine, increasingly brittle blood vessels and protects your legs against the formation of spider veins.
Venous diseases – a widespread ailment
Prolonged standing or sitting reduces the activity of your calf muscles. The result: blood dwells longer in your legs, the pressure in your veins increases and fluids penetrate into the surrounding tissue. That is how water retention develops, which can encourage the formation of venous diseases such as spider veins, varicose veins and vein inflammation.
Typical symptoms of a venous disease
This problem is known to many people who have to stand or sit for long periods in their job, when travelling or in the car: after a long day, they often suffer in the evening from tired, heavy or painful legs. But itchiness in your legs or nightly calf cramps are also typical symptoms which can be a sign of a venous disorder.
Medicines and procedures for treating venous disorders
Venous disorders may be widespread, but in many cases they cause hardly any symptoms. But if they do, a visit to the doctor is urgently required in order to diagnose the cause and to treat it accordingly. Depending on the manifestation, there are various procedures and medicines which can be used. In serious cases, the varicose veins are also surgically removed.
Vein problems caused by working from home: what you can do against it now
Covid 19 has not only completely mixed up our day-to-day life – it has also brought many changes to our working practices. Nowadays, working from home saves many employees the daily journey to work and the contacts in the office. But, working within your own four walls also has a downside. This lifestyle can have a negative effect on the health of your veins.
